This one was poured from molten silver.
The Dragon’s Muse is a one-of-one fine silver four-piece panel, created as a natural follow-on from my earlier piece, The Dragon Rider. It captures a striking female figure and dragon locked in a moment that feels part fantasy, part myth, and part ancient warning.
Hand-poured in fine silver using my traditional sand casting technique, this piece combines modern 3D design and printing with the old-world process of casting molten metal by hand. The result is a bold, high-relief artwork full of texture, shadow, and movement.
When assembled, the four panels measure approx. 125mm x 100mm and weigh around 12.72 ozt, giving the piece real weight and presence.
It is hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office for 2026 and comes housed in a bespoke 3D printed display case made specifically for the work.
A fantasy artwork cast in precious metal, not pressed, not mass-produced, and not to be repeated.
