Onna-Musha draws from the legacy of the female samurai warriors defined not by spectacle, but by control, precision, and unwavering resolve. The composition captures a moment of stillness before action; a calm intensity held within the gaze, balanced by the weight of armour and tradition.
Hand poured in high relief, the surface shifts between softness and structure, delicate facial features set against the intricate geometry of ceremonial armour. Every line and contour is translated into solid silver, giving permanence to an otherwise fleeting expression.

Cast by hand using traditional sand casting techniques and finished entirely by hand, the piece carries the subtle irregularities and surface character that define true hand-poured work. No two surfaces will ever resolve in exactly the same way, making this a singular object rather than a repeatable product.
The weight of the silver is intentional. It grounds the piece transforming it from representation into something that occupies space with authority.
Presented within a bespoke 3d printed case, Onna-Musha exists as both sculpture and statement, an exploration of strength through restraint, and beauty through discipline.
