A One-of-One Contemporary Silver Diorama by Silver Punk
Encased within a minimalist display cube, Flesh.exe captures a moment that feels both immediate and inevitable, the quiet transformation of the human into something else.
At its centre sits a hand-poured silver relief panel, cast in approximately 2.75 troy ounces of .999 fine silver, depicting a human face suspended between states. Some parts remain intact, recognisable, organic, present. The others begins to fracture, distort, and dissolve, its surface disrupted by the subtle intrusion of something artificial, something system-driven.
Surrounding the figure is a constructed environment built from authentic computer components, wiring, and printed code, layered over fragmented paper and textured ground. These are not decorative elements, they are remnants. Signals of a world where information replaces experience, and systems begin to outpace the human they were designed to serve.
The composition is deliberately restrained. Nothing overwhelms the central figure. Instead, the elements close in quietly, creating a tension that is felt rather than stated. The result is not a depiction of conflict, but of transition.
This is not man versus machine.
This is man becoming it.
Housed within a 13cm x 13cm x 13cm display cube, the piece functions as both sculpture and statement, inviting the viewer to look closer, and perhaps, to recognise something of themselves within it.
